I am very happy and grateful to announce the successful implantation of the latest generation of the ZSI 375 PF artificial urinary sphincter. The procedures were conducted on Monday, March 25th at the Hospital Hermanos Almejeiras in Havana, Cuba.
Two patients were operated on, one of whom is a pediatrician who had been waiting for the surgery for years. During their post-operative check-up today, both patients expressed their gratitude and happiness for the successful implantation of the artificial urinary sphincter.
I am pleased to have assisted in the surgery led by the excellent urological surgeon, Dr. Isis Emérita Pedro Silva, Head of the Urology Department at the hospital.
